Monday, March 31, 2003   King Kiwi Breaking news: Universal Pictures has just green-lit a(nother) remake of 1933 RKO classic "King Kong." Peter Jackson is set to helm. Actually it looks like the idea for a remake was Jackson's idea, it has been a dream of his since he was nine. I'm not entirely sure what to think about this as I'm not a huge Kong fan. But if anyone is going to do it, there is no better than Jackson (and a draft of his script is available here.)
